Skyline Drive in Winter

Skyline Drive in Winter is based on a photo I took in December on one of the Skyline Drive overlooks in the Shenandoah National Park i n Virginia.  This small 8x10 watercolor painting is mounted on a birch board and sealed with a resin, polymer wax.

Selected for the Regional Artist's Choice Exhibit with the Fredericksburg Center for Creative Arts, it was awarded an honorable mention out of a field of 50 paintings by artists throughout Virginia.
